Nutri-Dog Chews

I picked up a free bag of Nutri-Dog - made by 3M Petcare, while I was at SuperZoo last year and ever since then I have been buying them over and over for the pups.  Pill-strength nutrients.  Nutri-Dog Chews taste great -- that your dog knows.  But what he doesn't know -- and doesn't need to know -- is that they contain "pill-strength" supplements that are good for his coat, hip and joints.  That's for your peace of mind.

You can choose from 3 different varieties of chews.  There is Hip & Joint, Dental, & the one that I use all the time is Skin & Coat.

The Skin & Coat chew keep the shedding to a minimum and maximize your dog's sleek shine.  Give him a tasty chew packed with pill strength Omega fatty acids that he'll take a real shining to.  These fatty acids help reduce itching shedding and flaking.  They can also help with blood flow in many of the organs, as well as with the immune system.  Omega fatty acids can also be mildly anti-inflammatory.

The chews come in 3 different sizes - each offering a different level of Omega 6 & 3.  Consider the size of your dog when selecting which dog chew is right for your dog.
  • 250 mg for dogs 5-20 lb
  • 480 mg for dogs 20-40 lb
  • 738 mg for dogs 40+ lb
Pill strength Omega 6 & 3
Omega 6 helps reduce shedding, itching and flaking
Omega 3 helps promote healthy skin and coat
Enriched with vitamins & minerals
Unique shape helps prevent gulping & choking
Safely digestible
Low calorie & gluten free

What is "pill-strength"?  The difference is in the numbers.  Most chews that claim to have Glucosamine and Omega fatty acids don't have a meaningful amount.

Nutri-Dog Hip & Joint Large Chew     1 treat = 585mg   585 mg Glucosamine
Greenies Senior Treats     245 treats = 500mg   2.04 mg Glucosamine
Pedigree Good Bites Hip & Joint        396 treats = 500mg   1.26mg Glucosamine

Always consult with your veterinarian about the right amount of Glucosamine or Omega 6 & 3 for your dog.
You can purchase these chews at your local Petco, Petsmart or 3M store!
See how the unique shape makes it so they have to chew each side before they can consume the entire thing.  This way they don't choke on it at all!

Thank you for a well rounded review. We really appreciate being introduced to such products. And, yes, always check with our vets :)

Sagira the pups seem to like them a lot and they aren't bad in price either! They are really good for them.
