Spring Fun

What a fun time we had this weekend!  After my softball games, I began the bath rituals with Coco, Bruno and Armani -- they do so love their baths using Isle of the Dogs products!!!  A spa experience in their own home!  


Josh arrived home from work and set about making dessert for our BBQ at Stephanie, Jerimy and Harley's house.  The pups played and played!

Jerimy is a definite grillmaster on the BBQ - the hamburgers were to die for followed by Josh's dump cake -- who said men can't cook?  Josh and Jerimy were deep in conversation about art while Steph and I talked about DOGS, of course!  My pups completely passed out from all the romping about and slept the whole way home!  It was a totally marvelous way to spend a Sunday evening in Oregon!
I know that the dump cake isn't for pets, but I wanted to share the recipe with you, because its totally amazing and so easy to make!  ENJOY!


Ingredients
1 can (16 oz.) crushed pineapple
1 can (20 oz.) cherry pie filling
1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1/2 c. butter
1/2 to 2/3 c. chopped nuts (if you want them)


Preparation
Grease a 9x13 inch pan.  Dump in the pineapple and juicy spreading evenly.  Pour cherry pie filling over the pineapple, spreading evenly.  Add dry cake mix evenly over the fruit.  Add nuts (if you want them), then slice butter and lay all over the top.  Do not mix.  Bake in a 400 degree oven for 30 mins.
